Significant Cases Successfully argued and set State Law in the Estate of Pittman 104 CAL.APP 3d 288. As of January 1, 1985, California Probate Law was amended to reflect decision in Pittman supra.

Defended a reverse Marvin case in the Estate of Bernice Vitullo. Was the attorney in the first right to die case in Orange County in the Conservatorship of Norman Nichols.

Activities in Sections Updating Probate Policy Actively participates from time to time in Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section project on updating Orange County Probate Policy. Worked on State Bar Legislation for Probate matters and had legislation proposed and approved at the State Bar Convention.

Education Undergraduate degree form University of Illinois at Champaign, Illinois, in accounting and received Doctor of Jurisprudence from John Marshall School of Law (night school) while employed by the Internal Revenue Service.

CEB and Orange Chairman and Co-Chairman of "CEB" in Orange County from 1975 through 1993, when the position on a State-wide basis was eliminated. Former member of the State Bar "CEB" Joint Advisory Committee as well as its Probate and Estate Planning Sub-Committee. Presently an advisor to "CEB" on Estate Planning.
